Social media gave me a chance to directly interact with customers, showcase my products, and build a brand identity.

Tip: Pick 1 or 2 platforms to focus on. You don’t need to be everywhere. I spent a lot of time trying to do everything—Snapchat, Twitter, TikTok, you name it—but I wasn’t getting the results I wanted. Once I honed in on Instagram and Facebook, engagement skyrocketed. Be consistent with your posts and interact with your followers. Even just responding to comments makes a huge difference!

2. Content Marketing to Build Trust and Authority

I can’t tell you how much content marketing has helped my business. When I first heard the term, I wasn’t sure what it meant.
